Arkansas Basketball Scholarship Distribution Updated 2022-23

The Arkansas Razorbacks are just a little over two weeks away from meeting on campus to begin summer practice in preparation for the program’s most anticipated season in recent memory, but as the past few days have proven, that doesn’t mean the final roster has been set in stone. distance.

Although things at the gate slowed somewhat as the May 1 deadline came for first-time transfers to enter with immediate eligibility guaranteed at their next stop, there was still plenty of movement and vibration across the country.

Arkansas saw both ends of the spectrum as the Pigs lost one on the gate Thursday at the Jackson Robinson freshman wing, but boosted the roster nearly 24 hours later with the addition of a Wichita State diversion and AAC Sixth Man of the Year Ricky Council IV.

Here’s an updated timeline of all the offseason roster moves for the Razorbacks as well as a glimpse of what might come on the horizon and the latest scholarship distribution for the 2022-23 season:

chopping numbers

With its latest maneuver, the Arkansas roster currently plans to be in the NCAA scholarship limit of 13. If All-SEC forward Jaylin Williams eventually chooses to remove his name from the draft and return to the Razorbacks for the 2022-23 season, he should make room to accommodate his decision. Williams is currently scheduled to participate in the NBA draft in Chicago (Illinois) from May 16-22, with a stay-or-go deadline set for June 1.

If Williams chooses to stay in the draft, it wouldn’t be surprising if Arkansas at least kicks tires at other players available in the gate, including those who have removed their names from the draft consideration after next week’s group set.
